Bunny Huggie
Pattern Description:
The Bunny Huggie is an adorable amigurumi lovey pattern that is crocheted with Premier Parfait Chunky yarn. If you would like to create a smaller version you might choose to crochet with a worsted weight yarn and a coordinating hook. This huggie is considered to be low sew. A suggested worsted yarn I used for this is Lion Brand Heartland. I also created a fun template to use with this pattern. More information about the template is below.

Materials:
• 4 mm Crochet Hook
• 5.50 mm Crochet Hook for Overalls
• 3.75 mm Hook for Daisy
• Parfait Chunky Yarn
• Worsted Weight Yarn
• Stitch Marker
• Tapestry Needle
• Polyfil Stuffing
• Scissors
• Black Thread or Worsted Weight Yarn for Eyes and Nose

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
Skills Required:
magic circle, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, FLO, BLO, increase, decrease, chain, slip stitch, and basic sewing and embroidery techniques for the eyes.
Notes:
This is an advanced beginner/intermediate pattern, some amigurumi experience would be helpful. However, reach out with any questions or concerns. Please read through the entire pattern before starting your design. This pattern is written in US terminology. It is made in continuous rounds. Do not ch1 or sl st at the end of each round unless instructed to do so. Place a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round. Stitch count is in ( ) at the end of each row. Make sure your count is correct before moving to the next round.

Pattern Overview:
This pattern, like most of my crochet patterns, is considered to be low sew. The arms and ears are attached as you crochet the head, and the blanket part is attached as you go as well. This way you won’t have to worry about sewing the blanket on centered at the end. When I started crocheting amigurumi, I did not enjoy sewing the pieces together at the end. With that in mind, I try to create my patterns with as many pieces attached as you go. Once you are finished, all that remains are the eyes, nose and daisy. A step-by-step picture tutorial is provided to embroider the sleepy eyes as well as the nose.

Bunny Huggie Color Sequence Template
I tested this huggie color template last month with the lion huggie and it was a hit! So, I thought I would keep making them. It usually takes me forever to pick put yarn colors. This template helps you visualize the yarn colors all together to make sure the colors don’t clash. You are able to change each row color of the blanket or you can keep the sequence as is and change the section color. You will need a Canva account for this template. If you don’t have an account, they offer a free version. Once you have decided on the colors, you can choose your yarn. There is a spot for you to drag in a picture of the specific yarn you plan to use and label it to help keep you organized! You guys, this template is AMAZING!!!
